Revelation

Creeping within,
I feel it again
crawling around,
beneath my skin
I open my eyes,
to what's inside
only to find,
that I'm truly blind

Reflections shown,
I see myself
the truth within,
hides with stealth
I look again,
through hazel eyes
only to find,
I'm full of lies

The image shatters,
and breaks away
falling apart,
caught in the fray
closing my eyes,
I'm held by fear
only to find,
a falling tear

I search within,
to find my name
but in the end
it's all the same
all this time
I've been confined
only to find,
I've lost my mind

I'm so ashamed,
of what I've seen
everything I'm not,
and in between
I'm falling down
as I make my pleas
because I've found,
I'm not even me.

When you doubt yourself, you have to take a step back and look in the mirror. You have to look in yourself, deep within, to find the truth behind everything. Why are you the way you are? What made you that way? When you finally come to the realization of who you are, do you even recognize yourself?

Self-Realizations can produce revelations. They can help you find out who you are......what you are.

Are you even you? Am I even me?

That is amazingly good. I love the way in each verse he/she is discovering how much you don't know yourself. The feeling is overwhelming.
